Frog's New Tunes< Meet Up | Blog | Pure Dance Event > I met up with a nice new girl recently called Sal, who lives in Surbiton. We met through a new website called OzAdz.com which is a bit like how the personal ads used to be on another website called Gumtree. She came to meet me in my home town of Guildford, and I took her to the Britannia, a cosy modern pub close to the river.
Whilst I was at the bar buying drinks, I saw somebody in the corner of my eye, who was standing very close to my side and facing me, it was my good friend Frog messing about. He had just finished work, and had popped into the pub for a drink on his way home. I had not seen Frog for a few months, so it was good to catch up with him. It was meant to be an afternoon of me getting to know Sal, but all three of us enjoyed eating lunch together and chatting non-stop until the late evening. Frog had brought along his electronic cigarette to smoke in the pub, which has a blue light blub on the end of it. He calls it his digital cigarette. We were all in the pub together for about nine hours, and then Sal had to catch her train back to Surbiton. I enjoyed meeting Sal. All three of us walked together towards the train station. We left Sal at the station. Frog realised that he had lost his ‘analogue cigarettes’ which was his bag of tobacco and roll-ups, and he was all in a panic about it. So, we walked to the nearest shop, which sold tobacco. Inside the shop, there was an Indian gentleman who served Frog his tobacco. Frog made us laugh by telling the shop owner that he looked like the guy off YouTube who sang ‘Chocolate Rain’. The shop owner did very much look like him, but he was confused as to who Frog was referring to on YouTube.
We then went to the shop next door, which was a Subway fast food sandwich shop. I ordered one large 12 inch sandwich to share between us. Frog joked around and caused more chaos in Subway, the guy at the till couldn’t stop laughing at him. We walked back along the river to Frog’s cottage, and once there we ate our 12” sandwich. Frog played me his latest tune which he had made on his RS7000. Its called ‘9/11 Was An Inside Job’, and features the rants coming from conspiracy theorist Alex Jones mixed in with dance beats. I took a video of Frog on my mobile, and he let out a terrific loud fart at the beginning of his performance, which you can view below.
Frog later recorded a better version of his tune, which I have included below, together with another he made about his train journey to and from Guildford, to get his place of work.
It was a fun evening I had both with new friend Sal, and old friend Frog. Related ContentComments on Frog's New Tunes |
