Move Over CSI: Miami For CSI: My Office!< Yearbook Yourself | Blog | Feeding The Ducks On My Own Small Island > A girl who worked in my office recently left to transfer to be a Crime Scene Investigator. It was very amusing, as during her last day at my office, her manager sent her off in the tech’s department car to do some work elsewhere, and whilst she was away out doing a job, they re-created a crime scene around her very own car, which she had left parked in the staff car park. They put a marquee over her car, strips of police tape across it, and some white powder sprinkled across the car’s paintwork, to show up fingerprints.
The funniest thing about the whole thing was a dummy under the car wheels!
When she came back into the office and saw her car like that, she was in hysterics. They then gave her a bio-hazard outfit to put on to investigate the pretend crime scene around her car. I don't think I could be a CSI though, as I dislike things like dead mutilated bodies. Poking around with stuff like that, I would find quite difficult. I've never watched TV shows like CSI: Miami before. Nevertheless, I admire anyone who is able to be a CSI, and I would imagine its very interesting work to do. They should do pranks like this everyday at the office, I hope to see a pretend raid of some kind next!
